about me
My background
I hold degrees in both Mathematics and Education from New York universities. Before leaving my native New York for the old world charm of Vienna I taught mathematics at the university and high school levels.  I also worked at the New York Stock Exchange and Merrill Lynch in brokerage, marketing and financial analysis.

I have been using CAS technology to enrich my own classroom teaching and have integrated the technology into traditional and alternative assessment models. My work has been published in several educational journals. [Publications] Under request of school management, I have written Mathematics curricula integrating the use of hand-held technology and computer software. I am deputy chief examiner for IB Higher Level Mathematics, and was a member of the recent curriculum review committee.
