Austrian Center for the Didactics of Computer
Algebra:
I have many friends here who have shared generously
their many years head start in using CAS technology. Among them are the
technology virtuoso Josef Boehm, Helmut Heugl, Vlasta Kokol-Voljc,
Ingrid Schirmer-Saneff, and Klaus and Brigitte Aspetsberger. You can
read some of their articles and contributions at the above site. >

Lynda Ball:
Lynda has been running a CAS research project at
the University of Melbourne whose alm
has been to explore the feasibility of offering new
mathematics subjects that incorporate
the extensive use of CAS both in classroom teaching
and formal assessment.
The following website provides background
information about the project, research findings
John Berry:
John’s main interest in CAS is on the
research side. He is editor of the International Journal
in Computer Algebra in Mathematics Education and
director of the center of teaching
mathematics at Plymouth University. I always enjoy
hearing John’s entertaining anecdotes
Josef Boehm:
Josef is the most versatile and virtuoso user of
technology that I have ever seen!
If you get a chance to see him in action
you're in for an immense treat. He is now
offering the DERIVE newsletter free of charge! > WEBSITE
Frank Demana and Bert Waits from Ohio State
University:
It was their invitation to the summer institute at
Ohio State University that got me
hooked on to teaching with technology. > WEBSITE
Wilfried Herget:
Wilfried is a friend and mentor who has especially
helped me improve my middle school teaching immensely through his
clever use of “Picture Mathematics”. We have just produced
a joint paper on this theme that will be published shortly. Watch
“Publications”. > WEBSITE
Bernhard Kutzler:
I met Bernhard when he was a keynote speaker at a
technology conference hosted by Webster University, Vienna. He infected
me with his enthusiasm for teaching with technology! His articles are
“must reading” for anyone serious about introducing CAS
into the classroom. > WEBSITE
Tom Reardon:
I met Tom at Ohio State University T^3 summer
program. He’s an enthusiastic practitioner of technology in his
classroom, and has lots of ideas I’m sure you’ll find
useful. > WEBSITE
Jim Schultz:
Jim has visited my classroom and got some very
challenging questions from my students! He was also surprised at their
ability to answer what he considered the “tough questions”.
He is the prime mover behind the CAS USA conferences. > WEBSITE
