GDS software is enriching the mathematics classroom by allowing the visualization of geometrical properties through built-in dynamic construction and exploration tools. In particular animations and 3-D graphics are bringing a level of understanding into geometrical properties of objects that were here-to-fore afforded only those with intuitive understanding of spatial relations. Two of the more popular GDS versions are included below, whereby this is certainly not an exhaustive list. GDS software is included in CAS technology as well, e.g., Texas Instruments CAS and graphics calculators contain Cabri geometry and Geometer’s Sketchpad as applications.
